smooth edges/gasket match

Matching up your ports on both sides of the gasket will certainly improve airflow. Polishing the ports is helpful as well, take your time and go slow.

Steeper angles up to 55 degrees have been used for competition as there is less of a bend going past the valve but it doesn't wear very well and needs regular disassembly and maintenance. 450 is the accepted norm for all production.

Didn't Dodge have some at 45.50/450 ???? way back in the past?

Dunno, the Dodges I find worthy might fill one hand.

Valve seats are back ordered everywhere, so I ordered some custom cut out of inconel (there are many available that are really close and the custom cut to match the specifications necessary for the KA24E was a $4 charge)

The project marches on!

I think the 45.5 valve and 45 seat would allow quick wear in and seating. This would have been in the '60s when my dad bought a Dodge Polara and that's all I ever thought about.
