Battlecat
Mine (1986 2wd base model 720 with manual tranny) has the HF37 (H900 axle). I am just repairing the results of the stock vent clogging which resulted in my axle seals being blown out. I cleaned the vent and reinstalled it but I don't trust it anymore. Anyone had any success with finding a nipple that will fit the axle (so I can add a hose and filter)? Quote Link to comment
DwayneOxford
I just pried the cap off, clamped a hose on nipple with a filter at other end, tied it up against bed bottom. 2 Quote Link to comment

I started by checking the oil and a huge rush of air came out the fill port when I opened it.... I was able to use a regular npt fitting and did what you are trying to do... Is the 720 vent threaded of just press in? 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They appear to screw in... used on the B-210 and it shows threads.. The 2wd have a cover over the top but the 4x4 are a nipple with hose so you can submerge the axle. 1 Quote Link to comment

I might try that... 1 Quote Link to comment
bottomwatcher
I replaced mine with a hard brake line, ran a small inverted "P" trap then into the hole at the spring mount. Mine is a 4x4. 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
I keep a stock of Toyota breathers on the shelf. They come in small, medium and large sizes for vacuum hose, 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8". Ok, they are actually metric, but I'm murican. https://www.ebay.com/itm/355462154438?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=355462154438&targetid=1645685075408&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9032472&poi=&campaignid=20133407470&mkgroupid=147476396765&rlsatarget=pla-1645685075408&abcId=9312979&merchantid=5335203103&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw17qvBhBrEiwA1rU9wyr5Bfeau-vjBLNjHJQbEbqRGAGn3Hy3qqBUEbXE9z3YDpDiQAjrcxoCrnwQAvD_BwE 1 Quote Link to comment
