His response was "back when i was in college, i needed to get across town for an exam, my car wouldnt start and this was before cell phones. I walked to the closest dealer and jumped in a pile of crap for a test drive, when i got to school i stopped and got out and said thanks for the ride" cracked me up! hang_510 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Share Posted December 15, 2008 ...the guy shows up with the truck covered in mud tell my uncle that he got his truck stuck in the mud and took the car lot truck to get it out eXcellent!!! :cool: back in the mid 90's jeep was giving away lift tickets for a 'test drives'. i musta gotten about 40. told a few after the ride that it sucked and i would never consider buying one :thumbdown: 1 dealer finally told me that i couldnt do it anymore and just gave me the ticket to save the hassle and for me to go away :lol: they changed the rule the following year Quote Link to comment
