obrut
Not sure what this part is called on a 200sx 5 speed. I wanted to know if I need to add fluid to this before I install the shifter and small boot. Is it greased or a little of the 80w90 GL4? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
A little grease or oil is fine. The thing with the two 'ears' is the striking rod guide. The thing down in the bottom that the shifter fits into is the striking rod. Quote Link to comment

obrut
It was a little dirty before I spent some time cleaning it, the little boot was not on it. I cleaned it, I bought the little boot and I have new shift bushings. I going to get some grease in there and assemble everything. Edited March 23, 2023 by obrut 2 Quote Link to comment
