Stoffregen Motorsports
A KA24DE from a Frontier will have nearly twice the horsepower and get better mileage. Done right, it could transform the truck into something you want to drive every day. A/C would be a must or a daily. Quote Link to comment
EDM620
From my experience there isn't room inside the 620 cab under the dash for AC components. FWIW the 620 air intake is central whereas the 720 (and assumed unchanged in D21 or Frontier) is on the R side, further adding to the incompatability. Nice start with that truck Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
Maybe you could ditch the glove box. Not the best solution, but a solution. Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
They make small enough dash units.... I have one in my 521 where the pocket should be.... I thought 620s had an ac option in later years.... Personally I'd delete the factory heater box and get a nice slim aftermarket combo unit... 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
The better aftermarket A/C units utilize more modern components that are more efficient, allowing them to perform better in a smaller package. So don't think because it's smaller, it won't be as good. That's just not true anymore. 1 Quote Link to comment
