Questions easily answered by a FSM for a Z24---

---But, as you,,likely, rightly, surmised, I lack a FSM with Z24 information. Instead of posting all the sorted details, would someone be kind and link a FSM with the Z24 information. I am disassembling the head. The nicco collection might have the information, but I went through many FSM's on their site without success. I thought that early 200sx and Pathfinders came with the dual plug Z24's, or at least early hardbodies, but based on the service manuals, it appears I am mistaken. Thank you

Do you know what the engine you are using is out of? 1983 pickup (720) FSM has the Z20 & Z24 info for the engine (I have one in front of me). If it is a different model let me know and I can see if I have a FSM for it (digital or in print).

What do you need to know? Taking apart is easy. Springs (inner/outer), retainers, keepers and washers all the same and interchangeable, though it's customary to keep them in their original positions it's not the end of the world if mixed up.

Nice to see you Dguy210!

I'm around, just usually complaining in the political threads. Still been driving and working on Datsuns though.

I did a quick scan with the phone of the relevant pages from the 1983 DATSUN PICK-UP FSM 1st revision. Left out a couple of non-relevant pages with regard to the head.

Here is a link to just that scan:

Also just because it might be useful to others who come across this thread in the future.

Excellent, Awesome and Outstanding, what I wanted to know is covered in the manuals, so graciously supplied. I was confused on the sequence of steps in a Z24 dual plug disassembly. Thank you
