280zx strut/brake swap is as modern as you can get, without going crazy.

 

Differences between an American 510 and a Mexican 510-that, I do not know.

 

You may need to do some of your own research.

 

The forum helps those that helps themselves. I'm sure that specific topic has been covered somewhere here before.

People do often use 280zx struts to upgrade 510s here in the U.S. this also means that stock 510 stuff can be easily obtained here.

 

I would recommend you take your drums off and take a bunch of photos of the drums and the struts. Tell us what bearings are used in your drums. With that we can try to help you know if U.S. 510 disc parts would fit and go from there.

It could be just as simple as finding the hubs, discs, and calipers to complete this swap.

 

Or swapping in a complete 280zx set the same way US 510s do.

 

 

Again, research, research, research.
