Jelmer C31
I have a H190 under my Laurel C31 and when I put the L28 turbo in it I need a LSD for sure. I've looked into H190 LSD and there apair to be 2 different style for it: Viscous LSD from Nissan Crew taxi's Clutch style from the S110 I prefer a clutch style and found this: http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18916351-frontier-limited-slip-differential.html Would this fit my H190 with 3.7 gears? datzenmike
The Frontier did use H-190 on the rear 4 cylinder trucks I believe. Check the bolt diameters of the ring gear. Can't say for sure. Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
Those have very limited holding capacity because of the small diameter & low number of clutch plates they use. Try to find a Power Brute (H190 version is discontinued, but they pop up once in a while). Or one out of Japan, like I have. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The '88-'93 2wd Hardbody had an H-190 CLSD option. Only the 4 cylinder trucks had the H-190. Quote Link to comment

Jelmer C31
I contacted someone who can get me a Nissan motorsport H190 from Japan. Not cheap though... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Hey Mike is it on the engine bay id tag ,this would make it much easier .88-93 hogbody Unfortunately, no. It was an option. Look on the rear side it the H-190 differential for the orange sticker. Take a rag with you. Quote Link to comment
wayno
This isn't how it is all the time, the one I found in that 93 hardbody didn't have the LSD tag on it, it was just like any other truck, bare of stickers, that is why when I pulled it I expected to find welded up spiders, but that wasn't the case, it was a real LSD, so when visiting the wrecking yards I turn every 520, 521, 620, 720, and hardbody drum and look at what direction the other side is turning, if turning the same way I get interested, so far it has only turned the same way once in all the years I have been looking. I didn't know about the Frontier having an H190 axle, they never really interested me. Unfortunately, no. It was an option. Look on the rear side it the H-190 differential for the orange sticker. Take a rag with you. Quote Link to comment
