parts for L18 install

Need you guys advise.  I am getting ready to have a shop install my L18 head (valve is sinking) and they gave me choice to get the parts myself or let them order. The L18 head I have is supposedly good and been cleaned out and prepped.  I would rather get the parts myself.  So I was wondering where is a good place to order good parts like head gasket sets and also the mechanic recommends that I get new head bolts.  Another question I have is should I get a new timing chain set?  Thank you.

L18 head/what is the casting number under the #2 park plug?  Rock Auto for gaskets, FelPro only, do not but DNJ!  Cloyes is my choice for a timing set, if your head bolts re smooth and not a wanckey looking, should be OK to go.  Dealer supplied Turbo head bolts are a great option for new...

I'm a fan of cleggengine.com for rebuild kits. The L series doesn't use torque to yield bolts, so they don't usually require replacement like they do on newer stuff.

L head bolts are totally reusable if not damaged. They are not the crappy 'torque to yield' ones they pass off on us today so they can save a dollar..

Any auto supply will have a head gasket.

Was it rebuilt??? Did they use hardened steel seats, not the soft bronze ones???

Were new valve seals installed?

I ordered felpro headgasted set and Tsubaki timing chain kit.  The shop looked at my spare head and looks good.  So maybe by Saturday will take car to get head replaced.  Thx for all of the help, including which parts to get.
