copacetickid
Having a little trouble with searching... I don't know vBulletin that well so I thought I'd ask first. I'm looking for info on rebuilding my l20b and I searched for the words "main bearing". It returned 1 thread (for me), and I thought that there had to be a few more discussions about main bearings. I did a google search of forum.ratsun.net and it came back with 24 hits... maybe all of the "search first!" flames haven't been truly justified? Quote Link to comment
Cuts metal like mad
search works for me... what are you looking for exactly? Quote Link to comment
Nissan_Boy85
worked for me too... Quote Link to comment
copacetickid
what do you guys mean the search "worked" for you? did it return more than one result? if so, wtf. it still just gives me one thread Quote Link to comment
Phlebmaster
I only found 2 in a google search: "main bearing" forum ratsun.net The rest are from the Realm. I think that the search is a little picky, but not broken. The flaming comes in when a person chooses just to post a mindless question without looking around first. Again, not a perfect system but it get's the point across. :D Quote Link to comment
ppeters914
Search ain't broke, but you're at the mercy of lousy subject lines and poor spelling/grammar. That said, I searched on the following: L20b bearing L20b rebuild main bearing Each of those searches resulted in 1 result each. So, if you say "I tried searching and only got 1 hit, which didn't answer my question....", and then ask your question, no one is gonna flame ya....... ....well, not flame ya for not searching first anyway. So, start a new thread in the right forum with a good subject line. :D Quote Link to comment

Bleach
Maybe search by default only lists threads within the last month or so. try going to Advanced Search and make sure you're searching for threads created any time. Quote Link to comment

I am having this problem as well. Even when searching in the advanced field I am only getting posts from this month. I have been trying the info on pinto shocks you have talked about or dropped trucks. Quote Link to comment

SickDrift
wow... I tried it and got nothing. hmmm.... Thomas! :D I did find the info I needed though. For future reference for people, Monroe uses the same part number for front shocks from 70-80 on all models of pinto, including the wagon, pn: 32118.:D Quote Link to comment
