scooter stuff
How well do they work? Did you have to open up the hole in the door? Are they difficult to install? Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
How well do they work? Very well. Did you have to open up the hole in the door? Sort of. Are they difficult to install? Not at all. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Take old lock out. Use small file to enlarge one side of the hole. Install new lock. 1 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Perfect! Thanks. It really is very easy. What was covered in the other thread mentioned above is actually in the instructions that comes with the locks. Took me about 10-12 minutes per door, and about 3 minutes to do the trunk lock. And I never actually looked at the instructions. Also, he mentioned reusing the old plastic rod keepers, but you don't really need to (and I wouldn't, they're old). The kit comes with new ones, usually 3 of them. Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
Those work great now they just have to break the glass to get in. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Those work great now they just have to break the glass to get in. If you turn the key backwards, then they can't be unlocked from the inside either. So they'd need to break the glass, then climb in through the window... Quote Link to comment
jay123
So where did you get them? Ebay? Quote Link to comment
