BlackBird620
I have toyed with the idea the factory tow loops have a almost perfect mount location for the eBay ones might get one or 2 with tax return Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
I like the idea would love to some on my truck 1 Quote Link to comment
CameronT
the only issue i think i will have is i have an s10 front lip on it, i am half tempted to buy a clean one and slice a perfect slot into the current one, but for that feed back might be a plus haha Quote Link to comment

dr.feltersnatch
Whats the purpose of the tow hook? Just because racecar or do you need it to be functional? it might make a difference on recommendations. Quote Link to comment
jrock4224
i do cause i was making a three point turn in my 521 and dropped the rear wheels off the asphalt and got a leaf spring stuck ... had to have my buddy in his cadillac come pull me off and even then i could only hook it on the control arm and pull directionally cause straight woulda ruined my mk1 lip Quote Link to comment
CameronT
i would do it for both so many times i have needed a rear or front tow hook and have to take apart my truck to get it to tow, haha i need something heavier duty in the rear the front lighter duty for weight purposes, the front isnt gonna be much of an issue granted that the truck is light, i have a feeling as soon as i put em on i wont need to tow anyone at all Quote Link to comment
GRpufnstuf
I like race cars and I like a "race look" but I've always been confused by tow hooks as a fashion. They are for rescue when you've pushed too hard on the track. It kind of looks like your saying "I can't keep it on the track/road" to me. Quote Link to comment
barricade88
I think some of them look stupid. Especially on dodge neons. I hate those damn cars. Quote Link to comment

BlackBird620
Well I ended up ordering a set of blue ones from eBay for my Kc going to make one a false hook and rig it to pop the hood and the other will be functional for the rear when I put the roll pan on Quote Link to comment
BlackBird620
how low did you end up going? My reg cab is 2.5" of ground clearance static dropped can get a jack under the rear but not the front. Top of rear wheel well is 19" from pavement pretty much as low as you can go without cutting the bed floor. My Kc is stock height but will be lowered 2/3 Quote Link to comment

CameronT
what style you doing on the front? curved or straight? Quote Link to comment
BlackBird620
what style you doing on the front? curved or straight? I might use the curved one on the front with some mods Quote Link to comment
CameronT
I might use the curved one on the front with some mods It looks like the curved one is stronger, with the equipment it comes with I don't understand the straight ones with that 2 piece washer deal Quote Link to comment
