Icehouse
28???:lol::lol: to quote Al Jolson: "You ain't seen nothing yet." In the next 28 years you'll look back and just say... Wow. In no particular order you may... get married, change jobs, even start a business, buy or build a home, watch your children being born, spend twenty years raising them to near adulthood, meet many interesting people that enter your life and go on their way, meet some interesting people that enter your life and stay, becoming perhaps your best and dearest friends, marvel at how old you've gotten, but in a good way, watch your children grow into adulthood and start careers and their own families, have then come to you for advice, perhaps have grand children, look at your wife and be glad she was there to share it with you.... and so much more. Enjoy your twenties? You bet! But it's kid stuff for remembering and smiling about later. There is so much more just ahead... you ain't seen nothing yet. Happy birthday Jeff! Damn Mike you always got something good to say, datto related or not! Don't blink. Time slips away from us so fast. What Mike said was cool. True too. Ride fast and take chances. I ride fast! I crashed a CBR1000 after 10 minutes!! After pulling a wheelie while shifting into second and holding it till over 100 MPH! Yeah and I did all that without 1 beer!! I grew up on bikes to haha :D Now if everyone could just send me a dollar for my B day I could buy a turbo and ecu haha :D Thanks again guys!! Makes me feel cool old guy :D Quote Link to comment

Icehouse
The first "car" I ever wanted I noticed when I was skateboarding in Seattle. I was in the U district, as we headed back to my buddies place I noticed a flat black convertable. I just had to take a closer look :D This was well over 10 years ago by the way. There used to be a huge empty lot right next to my buddies place, 50% grown over with sticker bushes. The car was about 1/3 covered with brush. When I got up close I notice it had some aluminum rims, maybe lowered (it was really low due to flat tires) Being under 18 by a few years I didn't hesitate to open the door and hop in :D haha from what I remember is was a pre 68. I fell in love! I had to know what kind of car it was. Damn hood wouldn't pop either... haha after searching a bit I found out it was a Datsun. I've never really wanted any other car. I don't see the need for a huge car or truck, I'm cheap, like to tinker with cars, so they are perfect for me. I always wondered where that car ended up. One day is was a over grown lot the next thing I knew they built some apartments there.... I was actually going to Naz's place, he told me about the 510 too, at that time I had no interest in them :D Wow, memories :D Quote Link to comment
lynchfourtwenty
yea, my grandparents had a b210 and i thought it was the shizznit, it was orange and i remember my uncle an grandpa replacing the engine in it one time, later on my step dad had one and had a shop next to circle H which is a shop ran by dan hart aka an he works on pretty much just datsuns so in the summer when i would hang out around his shop i'd always hear him tuning his datsuns over there.. they were mean! also a buddy of mine had a 620 too an thats kinda what made me get mine Quote Link to comment
