stock caliper application

Potentially dumb question;

right front caliper is sticking on the Bee, it was built in 6/75, but most application show B210/610/710/210 are all the same after 8/75.

I was under the impression that the 510/610/710/B210/210 were the same?

At the very least I need to put kits in them, if a 510 is the same I'd just rebuild them and swap later.

I'm not interested in modding the brake system or spending $75 on a caliper as this is my daily.

Your caliper is unique to the B-210 up until July of '75.

The pistons and seals do work on other models but very complicated to figure out the years. If it's your DD all the more reason to send the $75 on a caliper and screw rebuilding it.

On your type, the armature? the metal shoe that holds the caliper to the rotor has to be free to self adjust itself laterally as the pad wears down. I had a new '76 B-210 and lived on a farm with dirt roads. The brake pad would wear on only one side. I watched while someone pushed on the brake. The caliper was forcing the rotor over to one side and it shouldn't. I took both pads out and lightly hammered this 'shoe' from side to side to remove the rust holding it. Centered it, put the pads back in and it was fine.
