I would get a miata if I could actually get my legs in. I like how they handle

Same problem here (6'3" 280), but with some race buckets they are actually pretty comfortable.

Always hit my knees on the steering wheel, but a few months ago I drove my buddy's race car with Kirkey seats in it and it was lovely. Actually had me wanting one...

I'm 6'5" and I used to knock my knees on the steering wheel back when it was big wide stock one. It's cramped but do-able.

Don't expect good performance driving position though, you're going to have to do some serious bracket modification to get there.

I have heard from someone near my height at a local show that you can actually shorten the steering column on a 521 to get a little more horizontal room in the cabin. Not sure exactly how he did it, but it might be worth looking in to.

If you're young and or never saw an older Datsun you might think that 17s or more look ok. They were designed to look right with 14"s. 15" are ok and maybe 16s but lets face it they quickly get into Donk territory. I don't see the attraction.... it's like putting 13s on a Versa/Cube/Matrix or whatever shit is on the road today.
