Let's remember that the Imperial Gallon is 40 ounces. The "American" Gallon is 32 ounces or One Wine Gallon. This explains why that British Sports Car gets such great gas mileage until you bring it to the USA and get 80% of the advertised gas mileage. Quote Link to comment
