for the 521

dual cam will be a little bit of work unless you can find a newer truck motor with the dual cam. you need the rear sump pan for the ka24. the other route is the single cam out of the truck. or you can frankenstein the ka, but regardless you are going to need to have the truck oil pan.

 

few more options

 

-if you find the ka24de, (DOHC) then if you have welding skills you can modify the pan/oil pickup.

 

-modify steering link and have a front sump setup. (like dgr's setup with SR20 http://forum.ratsun.net/showthread.php?t=806 )

 

the easiest way is to do the SOHC since its easy to come by and fits since its a rear sump. all the other ways your modifying which could lead to failure, either engine failure or steering. i would rather none of them fail. haha

You could do some research on your own. Check northwestnissans, the510realm, DQ classifieds, craigslists, evilBay, etc.

 

No free lunch around here.
