Fat510
lol turbo it, then run the downpipe out the hood because drift tuck 1 Quote Link to comment
izzo
you can install hardbody brake setup.. or even buy belltech hardbody drop spindles.. then throw hardbody rotors/calipers etc on it.. You will get a two inch drop right there. then you can do torsion bars to lower it also or instead of drop spindles. If you slam it out, you can raise the shock towers too and regain some of your shock travel. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Pavement is flat... or mostly flat/level. I would go easy on the lowering if 'drifting' on dirt. Quote Link to comment
Nickbrotha
Pavement is flat... or mostly flat/level. I would go easy on the lowering if 'drifting' on dirt. I've been messing around on smoothish gravel dirt roads and it's fine for that already (could be worlds better but it slides around easily) I do want it to be able to slide around on pavement though , eventually Quote Link to comment
Nickbrotha
I've been thinking of different color schemes that might compliment the "pos appeal" of my hood, that I enjoy so much . I'm pretty set on black undercoating from the trim line down , and stripping all the paint above that to bare metal , with some rust prevention oil type stuff. and rhynoline the inside of the bed . how many friends will I lose for that one haha ? That road would make my kids puke everytime lmao 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Hey, you could use a chain saw so it matches the hood!!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Alex Datsun
SO there is no drifting on this page like Jalen and slammed cars......... Quote Link to comment
Mikeystoy
DON'T use undercoating; its not uv stable and will look like crap after a month or so. Use bedliner 1 Quote Link to comment

Nickbrotha
well I got fancy aluminum hood scoop for free today . Came off an 280zx that my brother got today haha , it was bolted to the hood with no function at all . figured it'd be perfect for my truck URL=http://s1301.photobucket.com/user/Rriiddee11/media/image_zps98d08f12.jpg.html][/url] in related news the truck is broke down at a park across town . haha . it died and isn't getting fuel . Going to check the filter when it stops raining , although I just replaced it not too long ago Quote Link to comment
Fat510
you should make the scoop stick up through the hood, it might look cool Quote Link to comment
Nickbrotha
you should make the scoop stick up through the hood, it might look coolI think I'm just gona use the top half of the scoop , it's huge and looks ridiculous at full height on the truck . looks pretty good with just the top half covering the hole in the hood , well... my brother and I were playing on a dirt road the other day , I was in the truck following his supra which was throwing up a shitload of dust . blinded by the dust I hit a pretty bumpy spot in the road and the truck sputtered and died like 30 seconds later . it wouldn't start and wasn't getting fuel . the fuel pump was makin a lot of noise and vibrating . I changed the filter between the tank and pump , it still wouldn't start . after a sketchy ass tow from the supra with like 3 ft of tow rope , it was home and still wouldn't start . I decided to try again this morning and it started right up . what do you think the problem was ? clogged lines ? or maybe my badass filter took in some supra dust and clogged the carb ? maybe I'll put the scoop on backwards after all 1 Quote Link to comment
RedSquare
Is this truck for sale yet? Maybe someone can save it. 1 Quote Link to comment
russaroll
Groan. Throw that filter away, get a replacement hood and fix your ride up properly, or just shoot it and be done with it. This could be a nice truck but I see nothing so far to indicate this is going to end well. nah. just have fun. Quote Link to comment
