In fact, as many pictures as possible would be great. I have Z car SU's on an N14 manifold that I'm getting together, I just wanna make sure I have the linkages right before I try and throw this together. Yes I've searched. Haven't found anything super helpful. Assuming you mean the K14 manifold.... Not sure what throttle rod (between SUs) you are going to use, but the L4 is too long. I shortened a L6 rod and had a Hitachi carb trunnion welded to it.....linkage/throttle cable pulls from bottom Cut L6....upper right L4....center Modified rod for 46SUs...lower right Heat shield... With transitional isolators....38-46mm 240Z horns.... A wibeband is a must to tune the SUs......profile the needles. Quote Link to comment
jrock4224 Posted October 2, 2013 Report Share Posted October 2, 2013 where can I get the l 4 linkage new link u have it pictured.....I am missing that push rod on the left .......on my l20 in my 521 I use a cam like the linkagae on the far left .......I am missing everything but the push rod ....oh and base gaskets ......that heat shield is beefy!!! so any ideas on where to get su parts ... I'll end up blocking PCV though, I have a catch can run for everything that works great. Oh yeah and I mean K14, I was retarded and in a hurry when I typed that Only thing I'm missing is a cable pull, so I'll have to find one of those.
