SlammedSunny
if i remember right you want the 82-84 200sx rear end should be h190, solid axle, disk brake, four link, and the same width as the stock h150. should bolt right in, all i could find for mine was out of an 80 200sx so it is only a h165, but it works for now, till i find the right one. The S110 Silvia (AKA 200sx) is 1979-1938 but the axle you are talking about is AFAIK 82-83 only, as a 1984 200sx is an S12, it is an H190 axle but has drum brakes, and is much wider than the S110 axles. BUT one benefit of the S12 H190 is that it has 29 spline axles, same as the trucks which means an LSD and various R&P's are still available for it :D 1 Quote Link to comment

Davec
Wow that's just weird. You must have one of those crazyomgfuckingjdmasfuck sr20det's cause i've never seen one with a distributor. wowza kids that's just nuts! good luck, but this won't happen. I have a B210GX and shot down the idea of a KA swap very quick due to it being quite a daunting task... and I'm a Toyota Tech. I've done more S13 SR/KA/RB swap than years you've been alive. Those are easy and where you really should begin for your first project. In my opinion you should get some experience with cars you can go buy parts right off the shelf. A few things to keep in mind in order of most importance.... Do you have the space? I don't mean your driveway... I mean a garage / shop space Do you have the tools? No, not sockets and jack stands. Can you weld? Do you have the patience? This could take a year just to source all the parts. Can you wait to save money that long? Think about it. Sorry if you think I'm an asshole. i didn't think it was all that difficult, i did everything myself. 2 Quote Link to comment

S13 b210
I say, if there is a will, there is a way!! You have a vision of what you want to do, I say go for it!! 1 Quote Link to comment
SlammedSunny
You have a 210.... I have a B210GX. A little different ball game here.... In my opinion a B210 is easier than a 210 to SR or KA swap. It is 85% the same as swapping those into a 510. Quote Link to comment
ANDREW5373
ok question i have a 1980 210 thinking about swaping in same motor only none turbo..would the crossmembers needed be the same as the 79 210? and for the rear end was there any modification to the suspention or was it direct bolt in? ANDREW5373
thank you and i was looking at that sit http://www.maddat.com.au/index.php and i was wondering if this would help with alot of the heartache with modifying the crossmembers and mounts? Quote Link to comment

H-165 drum brakes S110 '80-'81.......... H-165 disc brakes S110 '82-'83.......... H-190 disc brakes S12 '84............... H-190 drum brakes with CA20E motor S12 '84-'88........... R-200 disc brakes with CA18ET S12 '85-'88 .......... R-180 disc brakes with CA20E motor S12 '87-'88 .......... R-200 disc brakes with VG30 motor The '84 S12 with CA20E does have the 29 spline side gears but as for LSDs being available for the truck H-190s?... not really. They were only after market and pretty much NLA as there is little to no demand for them. Power Brute used to make them. I've seen a reference for a factory H-190 LSD option for the '88-'93 4 cylinder D-21s but have never heard of one otherwise or seen them. Oh, they are $1,500 from the dealer. Quote Link to comment
SlammedSunny
I've found an LSD new in box for my 29 spline H190, $900 and I'm not telling where because its the last one they have. No clue what brand it is though, ive never asked Quote Link to comment
