datzenmike Posted August 10 Author Report Share Posted August 10 Limp mode is likely one of the sensors. Because the EFI mixture is capable of being too lean, limp mode runs extra rich so the engine is not damaged. It's expected that the owner will notice the terrible mileage and investigate/fix. Continuous running in limp mode is not good in the long run. Quote Link to comment

Once I had my license in '88 - I drove it more than her - until I got my '79 210 in '89. My mom's was an automatic. 5spd would have been so much more fun! My 210 was a 4spd.
