Phixius
So, at work today as I was filling out my time card, I relized it was 5/10. Whens a better day to finally start working on my 510?. After 4 years of it sitting around, procrastinating, and rippings its heart out and pushing its corps back and had to watch as I transplanting it into the 521... Even if this takes me as long as it did to start the project as it does to finish it, its a start. And hopfully making this thread will motivate me more... HAPPY 510 DAY!!! after a quick wash... moar to come. Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
Dibs on the front bumper!! Seriously we have had a 2door in the back longer than both our 4doors ( my brothers and mine) put together..... And still she sits. 510s aren`t the be all end all everybody wants to believe my brother loved his 521 probably more then his 510.. It`s just the 510 is quite a bit more comfy for long trips.. Phixius
Had to hit the post button... 5:10 and all... picture of when I was acually driving it around. and my oldest picture of it. had to go out and take some more pics...Ill do these in chronological order as I was taking them... engine bay. came with L20 with 219 head and 5spd ( FS5C71B) as mentioned ealier ended up in my 521. build thread for that: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/44387-my-daily-brownie/ has prelude seats, kinda comfy, but I hated them. I always hit my damn elbow on the seat adjuster when shifting into 2nd 4th or R headliner it also come with these nice black panels (was the first thing i did to it) it had the original cream ones but was nasty... my grill chillin in the original back seat.. RUST damnit... drivers side passenger side. Cool, datsun floor mats... Well, as I lift it up and toss it out to see whats underneath... My eyes widen, my mouth droops open and a smile is bestowed upon my face. And as I gasp and reach down to pick up a completely drenched peice of paper, hoping its what ive been searching for, (for nearly 4 years). As im carefully unfolding this paper soaked with old mossy dirt water, hoping its not just some old ass registration.... Its not!... Its the Title I lost damn near right after I bought it... FUCKIN YES!!! what a great day this has turned out to be... Its currently drying on the prelude seat... this was the main reason why I waited so long to work on this. If I had this car done I couldent register it... but, now ... woohooo! my bill of sale ive kept in my wallet (even tho not needed in WA)... so, hopefully I can take these to the DOL on monday and finally get this bitch in my name... more passenger side. thanks PO, you replaced the rust... dont know whats worse... Hmmm... for some reason im craving a creamsicle now.... Quote Link to comment
Tristin
So I see that your interior is all black, but you have a creme back seat. Would you be interested in parting with that seat if I sourced you a black one? Im dying for a creme back seat. Quote Link to comment
