datsunfreak
Australians? Looks like a Ford Fusion. It's an Australian Ford Falcon. It's RWD and all kinds of badass. B) Used to have a V8, now it has a turbo 6. 2 Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
Why does ford make all the cool RWD or AWD in other markets. Pisswasser!! Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Why does ford make all the cool RWD or AWD in other markets. Pisswasser!! No idea. But it pisses me off... :sneaky: GM does it too. They finally gave in and sold one here (Pontiac G8), then almost immediately shut down Pontiac as soon as they came out. 1 Quote Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
It's 'cause Australians are bat shit crazy and the general public there would rather go fast than be "safer" with FWD standardized cars. (Unlike the general American public who'd rather not even have to bother with driving... resulting in the fugly little google self driving pods) 2 Quote Link to comment

Safety standards drive the prices out of our range. That's why they cant sell shit here. Bad example: Pontiac solstice was given a projected retail of $12,000 when introduced, but after safety standards are applied the price was driven up over $26,000.00 Quote Link to comment
