Posted March 10, 2012 Report Share Posted March 10, 2012 @ Npdavies: I wanna go witht the stock bumper, im still searching for one. >.< i got a rear bumper, but it needs a lil work. haha. and @280: Yeah, i did! :D It has a salvage, but ive seen the damage, and its not bad at all. its in leagues better shape than any other S30 ive owned. I didnt care much for the paint job when i first saw the ad, but as the prospect of buying it grew, so did my liking for the paint. lol. Of course, i wanna do the whole Devil Z treatment. :) but the drivetrain is gonna be different....no V8, but itll still haul the mail. youll see..... A few people on here were selling early 260z bumpers, so checking through the parts for sale forum and sending some PM's might work well for you. This is when I first got it, a couple years ago. The original owner is my mom. I was 12 when we drove this bad boy home from the dealership. After daily driving it for years, then parking it in my brother's garage, she finally signed it over to me a couple years ago. It's an NA automatic for now, but it won't be that way for long. Last month it received a few goodies, and some much needed rust repair while we were in there. it's now on KW Variant 3 coil overs, Prothane bushings, has a camber modded crossmember, CM Performance 3" stainless catback, and 17x9" MB Weapon wheels with 255/40/17 Yokohama S.Drives. Also installed an NOS Nissan steering rack, new wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints, etc. I've got all the parts for the 5 speed swap sitting in the shop, and I also parted out an 84 turbo this winter, so I have everything for the NA2T swap. Just need some more time before I dig into those. I'm also a set of 88 turbo hubs away from my 30mm aluminum Z32 caliper upgrade. 1 Quote Link to comment

Want to finish up the suspension project, and get the Z32 brakes on first. I parted out a turbo 5 speed last year, and kept all the good shit for my 87. Thanks! believe it or not it is lowered. im running tokico 280z springs because theyre stiffer, but are longer. i cut the fronts 1 3/4 coil and im almost on the bump stops. I can cut the rears another half coil maybe but i wont get the ride height i want. So iI guess i'll have to learn to live with it till i can afford coilovers 1 Quote Link to comment
