deweyharding
I found the car here in Florida about a year ago. Came with a full cage that had been hacked up over the years so it was removed by me. Car came with a bunch of great parts.Fiberglass front fenders and hood. Minkuni 44 mm sidedrafts no manifold. Also came with all new design racing products suspension parts. So going to start putting it together over the next year and have it ready for the SVRA race before next years 12 hours of Sebring. fivetenguy
Sweet car! Love it when datsuns are raced. Please keep the progress coming. By the way, I have a manifold with isolators that came with my old setup (PHH44's) I bought from Troy Ermish. I am told by him that it's a nissan comp manifold. It also has the linkage. Let me know if you're interested. Quote Link to comment

deweyharding
Got everything strip out of the chassis and is ready for the media blaster. Still have some fab work and disassembly on some of the suspension pieces before they head off to the powder coater. Not really sure i like the non-BRE style fiberglass front fenders. Rear firewall area. So chassis will have the roll cage finished after the media blaster... Quote Link to comment

deweyharding
Worked on the rear trailing arms this weekend to modify them to work with the design racing products weight jacker system and 2.5" coil springs. I was going to buy a pre-made set up but decided to fab it my self. Also install the mono-ball bushings and cleaned up the surface rust with a knotted wire cup brush on the grinder and finished by stich welding the two factory seams not fully welded from the factory. Next project is to modify the the front pick up point..... Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
man that shell looks good for an old race shell nice score Quote Link to comment
deweyharding
Put together the tension rods. Most of the parts are off the shelf items. The only real fab work was cutting down the orginal tension rod and threading it. Quote Link to comment
