I need a car! I want a Ratsun pre-smog (CA '75 or ealier) I don't have a large lump sum but I'm willing to make payments if you are willing to hold the paper. I think they raised the payments on new cars to 80 months now.

Get a Kia(payments) and save for the Datsun at the same time with the extra income you make selling photos

Put the $200 in a savings account each month and by next year you can buy for cash.  Downside, you'll be walking or hitch hiking for a year.

I bike 5 miles to work in anything but deep snow. Rain or shine so don't say it can't be done. Takes me 20 min each way. Cycling for an hour shouldn't be a problem so that's about 12 to 15 miles. California??? Pfffft.

Then when you bike you don't have to go the gym, save money and time.  BTW, not to sound mean or anything but I don't think you'll get any takers.  I won't even co-sign for my close friends and let alone family members.

Learned my lesson by helping out a "friend" this way. He sold the car for more than his first payment to me.. now Izzo owns it(for the 2nd time) :rofl: :angry:
