Just got a job at fred meyer (basically a nice walmart). first paycheck is friday! :thumbup: anyway first some pics of my favorites from CANBY :thumbup: :rofl: love this car so much..... me and kipps truck :thumbup: Cleaned my block, looks super patina, i can dig it :thumbup: got a new valve cover thanks to datdoug :thumbup: let the polishing begin took out the diamond plate box and added my spare rim with a original 620 spare to add to the grandpa look :rofl: a few pictures from a while ago but thought i would post them. thinking about putting it up for trade for a ratty 510...... i know not to many people will trade 510s especially for a 620 but worth a shot. 2 Quote Link to comment
red76datsun Posted September 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2013 been a while since a update. havnt done a whole lot cause i had some money issues. now its all in! haha being a teen sucks. just done a few things. carpet, kenwood speakers, new center console almost done, weber 32 36 and new valve cover on. lil hustler stickers in my own spot :thumbup: and the new carbs :rofl: the console is being carpeted lil hustler carpeted the kick panels picked up these bad bitches from tristin! picking up a l20 to rebuild on the side that will be mildly built. i would just do mine but i need a way to get to work and Ls are cheap B) also getting a l16 header. heading to the exhaust shop tomorrow to get a quote glasspack or turbo muffler? 2in piping stay tuned for the L tomorrow. sorry for the late update :crying: Quote Link to comment

This needs more pics of new parts!... oh your in the party now! :rofl: update! thanks again adam for the l20! its got a n58 head but i should be picking up a a87 peanut head this weekend! its not on a stand yet. should be in the next few days plans. a87 head with maybe a stock or maybe a bigger cam rebuild kit: gaskets, timing kit, rings, bearings, piston. anyone know where to get the good quality and not outrageous expensive kit?im gonna stop by napa tomorrow and get a quote. ka oil pump and a el dizzy 5 speed tranny to back it up :thumbup: might go to the yard next week and see if i can get some 3.89 or 3.7 gears from a 720 to put in mine. gonna try and update this shit more often Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam Posted September 18, 2013 Report Share Posted September 18, 2013 shoulda said something about the KA pump man..... i have one FS best rebuild kit for the price when it comes to gaskets is Rockauto.com (go with sealed power) best timing kits are anything made in japan(the key is it has to have 2 bright links on it) rings and bearing are a preference thing but don't go cheap on those. Replacing a failed gasket - cake work - replacing a spun bearing.... well its a lot less fun i MIGHT have a 5 speed FS but i doubt you wanna drive back for one :P Quote Link to comment

(Forgot to post a while ago) 3in blocks instead of the 2 I have from hooligan. Thanks again. Saturday they will be installed A87 peanut head to go on the l20!
