datsun 160J SSS Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 I dont know if anyone has ever imported a 160J 710? At this time I am building a 1974 710 sss160j clone I have had parts sent to me from all over the world . the U.S. spec 710 used big taxi bumpers very ulgy .the violet sss 160j 710 used much smaller bumpers .the fenders ,valance, grill, tail lamps, gages, steering wheel .sss badges .were never imported to this country .on USA models .The 710 in the united states was the ugly duckling family car and not many are around to day not like the Datsun 510 or 610 also hard to find but I have seen more 610s around .much nicer looking car .The 710 with all the over seas parts makes the car look very cool .UNIQUE:) Quote Link to comment
