angliagt
I need new tires for our Cortina wagon.I'm looking for 185/60R13 / 185/70R13/205/60R13. There doesn't seem to be much selection for good handling tires.I've found Kuhmo, which I believe are made in China,& Falken, which I don't know where they're made. Any thoughts,or suggestions? - Doug Quote Link to comment
Dantheman
A friend found tires for his bug eye sprite at costco. I think they were 13" Michelins. This was a couple of months ago. Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
Short of spendy race tires your choices are very limited in that size. Where did you find the Kuhmos and Falkens at? Do they actually have them in stock? I have two Yokohamas and two Federals because that was all I could find after Sumitomo pulled most of its 13's from the U.S. 13" are a dying breed here in the States, still readily available in the U.K. Quote Link to comment

HRH
Sumitomo HTR IIs are great tires. The regular HTR blow chunks. I ran the IIs on my Miata, had mad grip. The HTRs were like hockey puck material. Hard and unforgiving. Quote Link to comment

graveltrapp
Check with some of the local race shops, they have access to tires in the less common sizes for the Vintage crowd. Sometimes there are spec class tires. Formula ford, Formula V, etc... Quote Link to comment
