Ranman72 Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 started like this Dave had a completely un avoidable mechanical failure there is no way to see this coming until your alternator light goes on then this Steve brought an extra water pump pulley we were delayed about an hour but Dave was able to drive with us so it was worth it three boat loads of datsuns I think there was 30 cars and trucks total it was a beautiful day and a great turn out it was a great day beautiful weather lots of nice people and cars two couples from the zonc club went on the run with us thanks everyone for all the support we had a blast as far as I know this was the largest turn out for the delta fun run we ate at 2 different restaurants because we packed the fosters so some of the group went over to the 60,s style hamburger place all in all it was a fantastic day Thanks Randy Quote Link to comment

I brought the wife and oldest son.Putting it all back together after fixing the water pump pulley.My son was ready to get going. Dave announcing all fixed and choosing lunch options. ALIENS agreed Aliens never saw the missile codes though all came up as pics this morning Great pics everyone and an awesome turn out Thanks for sharing If anyone can remember the people in the black 350 or 370 z I think they are going to post on Zonc they also have some kind of a radio broadcast I was talking with them for a bit before helping Dave with his car then never got to chat with them again as they were on the other side of the ferry and ate lunch at the secondary location due to the overcrowding of Fosters Longhorn I would love to see some of the pics she was taking also Thanks Randy Quote Link to comment

I look forward to doing another one soon. That was my first long distance run in the truckster since its been built, and I have no complaints yet. wish I could of made to Sac before you all took departed. I'll see you all soon enough.
