Homeboyx
SOB.. don't know why the list came out like that. *facepalm* Quote Link to comment
Tristin
What does all that have to do with putting them on the Z? If they don't make them in 4x114.3 then you have two options: 1. Don't run them. 2. Buy wheel adapters to whatever lug pattern you want. I highly doubt any of those models of cars you just listed will have any parts that easily swap over to the S30/S130 chassis. Just get adapters and go. Quote Link to comment
Ben280
Compomotive (company that makes the wheels) will drill the wheels for most common patterns on a 5 lug. The real problem is that they wont alter the rear offset and they make NO alternative sizes, AND they cost almost $4500 once they make it into the states haha! But the real issue really is that 8" is not nearly gangsta enough. Sorry guys! No hate on "narrower" wheels, but I like having more rubber on the road! Heres a quick chop of what the image wheel could look like if they had the gold lips and barrels! WAY sicker in my opinion. The color got a little goofed when I uploaded it but you all get the idea. I dont mind as much the spokes not going to the edge with the 3 piece bolts taking the space. Quote Link to comment

Buy the Image version, and get wayyyyyyy more options! 5. Fab the hubs on any of those cars onto the S30 chassis ... PARTY! Quote Link to comment
Homeboyx
Yes! wheel adapters! I was trying to remember what they were called all day today. haha I guess the lack of sleep is finally getting to me.. Quote Link to comment
Homeboyx
The ones from Comp seem kinda eh imo.. I'm in love with how the coffin spokes run all the way to the lip. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
The image ones are lame... The centers stop at the lip. They need to go over the lip and touch barrel like the Lancia ones (and the ones in the Z photo above). I'm all about sweet wheels (I have a set in the works right now actually), but $5000 is even a little rich for me. Quote Link to comment
Ben280
Yeah, 5k wheels (Before getting any kind of adaptor/hub swap situation going) is insane. And the Image wheels are NOT lame! :crying: And for half the cost and 85% of the style I'm super down. And the compomotive wheels are the same as the rest, they all use the campi molds from the 70's. Homeboyx
They are but that's the only ones I could find for comparison. hahaYea.. footing a $5k wheel bill is tear jerking to say the least. Where the hell is rota to make a replica of these! :( Quote Link to comment
DaBlist
http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/large_wheel_pages/ls_classic.html http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/pages/wheels_cast.html FOUND THEM!!!! Pretty legit pricing on them too, even for being built in the UK. I emailed the owner of the company and he said that the 4 lug pattern looks pretty normal/you dont really notice them. And you can get them in almost any size/offset since they are 3 piece wheels! Now somebody just has to buy them. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ These guys are awesome! datsunfreak
Where the hell is rota to make a replica of these! :( Rota is all about the bottom line. Unless they think they can sell a few thousand sets, they ain't making them. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
This thread is pointless... I thought we were researching all this stuff to have someone actually fit these on their Z. This is full of all hopes and dreams and no action. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
This is full of all hopes and dreams and no action. I should copy and paste this into my 210 build thread for motivation... Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Haha youre going to need a bigger signature :D I just really though someone would have looked at price before asking all these questions and getting their hopes up. I wanted to see someone actually buy a set and install them... they look sweet for a Z. But alas, this thread is pointless. Quote Link to comment

Ben280
This thread is pointless... I thought we were researching all this stuff to have you someone actually fit these on their Z. This is full of all hopes and dreams and no action. I beg to differ! I started a thread with a cool photo/idea and people seem to like it. A side goal was to see if anybody had done it before. I know the parts to buy to get them on a car, but its prohibitively expensive (read as; find me cheap parts/cheap machinist and I'll do it haha). I'm still looking for a Z that has actually fitted these wheels, but lacking progress I'm just bein a goober! At any rate, I'm glad to have contributed a thread that gave DatsunFreak a sweet addition to his sig! Quote Link to comment

72240z
If you do every find one odds are it will be because of this thread because a lot of people either had not idea of those wheels existence and or more likely how good they looked on a z. The threads not pointless, trolls just be trollin Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Say what you will, nothing happened in 4 pages. This thread might as well have been started by Jalen. Quote Link to comment
