72240z
There's the reason the Hawk HF3000 is one of the only cars ever to foil Top Gear's Stig! Haha Ya because it broke down like 4 times lol 2 Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
Neat. Some wheels require a specific machined hub size.(hard to know) I'm not fond of the 5x108. I have no idea if you have to order from hawk cars uk , but... British pound to Dollar.(converting their prices via current value) $2,545 - $3,342 (depending on set) + shipping + re-drilling hubs + Tires + lug-nuts + flares + ? Maybe used or another source/american source ? Hope I'm off lol Buy an engine swap or another car instead  Quote Link to comment
Ben280
Ya because it broke down like 4 times lol Haha! That and when it was drivable it handled like a pig Neat. Some wheels require a specific machined hub size.(hard to know) I'm not fond of the 5x108. The way I figure it, your looking at 5K plus to get all the parts, with no guarantee of the rear fitting. AND thats without tires, which are SUPER limited for the 15x12. I believe that the used market for these is nonexistent The original wheel was ONLY on the Stratos/Stradale 037, and was an upgrade. That combined with the fact that they are a magnesium alloy, used is probably more expensive than the aluminum reps available at the moment! Probably easier to have somebody custom machine the wheels in the states for all the work these are! Then you can get the right specs! Who knows a good wheel CNC place that will do group buys? HAHA Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
Haha Hawk Cars says non-magnesium alloy ;) Although cool ... some tire shops won't touch em. If custom wheels might as well have the stig carved into each one  Quote Link to comment
Ben280
Haha, didn't know that about magnesium wheels! So, new question! Where to go for one off custom wheels? Is it even reasonable? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Custom one-off wheels are about $2500 each. Small CNC shops can make them. Ben280, is your car even worth $2500/set wheels? Quote Link to comment

Ben280, is your car even worth $2500/set wheels? HAHA NO!!!! The car has no real value except to me, and I like it lots! Not enough to put a 10k set of wheels on it, but I could get down with 2500 haha. But a guy can dream right? This whole conversation is me fantasizing about a really expensive issue and hoping that somebody somewhere had done it and had a photo to oogle at! Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
I don't know anything about custom wheels or prices. I noooo nuttin. Datrod.. machines multiple items for many clients. I'm not sure what's what though. Quote Link to comment

Pretty legit pricing on them too, even for being built in the UK. I emailed the owner of the company and he said that the 4 lug pattern looks pretty normal/you dont really notice them. And you can get them in almost any size/offset since they are 3 piece wheels! Now somebody just has to buy them. Quote Link to comment
Homeboyx
Sweet jebus.. I'd rock those anyday on my s30! Quote Link to comment

Homeboyx
Boom. Wouldn't it be easier to just get two pairs of front wheels since they are 15x8? http://www.hawkcars.co.uk/parts/stratoswheels/coffinspokes.html http://www.comp.co.uk/wheels/replica.asp Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Boom. Wouldn't it be easier to just get two pairs of front wheels since they are 15x8? This was suggested and deemed to not be "gangsta" enough. B) 1 Quote Link to comment
Homeboyx
If it ends up looking ANYTHING like that black Z chop, then your reply does not compute at all. lol Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I'm the one who suggested it. I think it would look badass with 8s all around. B) Quote Link to comment
Homeboyx
I suck at conversions.. does anyone know what 5x98mm(Alfa Romero HF3000 Replica) and 5x108mm(Lancia/Ferrari aka original Stratos) stud patterns translates to? Also, I found that the 8's have 0 offset... I think. Maybe +7? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lancia-Stratos-8-x-15-Forged-Racing-Wheel-New-/160489316183 Additional links: http://www.alfaholics.com/2012/06/lancia-stratosferrari-308-gp-4-magnesium-wheels-2/ http://www.stratosec.com/www.stratossupersite.com/forum/showthreade71f.html Quote Link to comment

In "American" that's around 5x3.86" and 5x4.25". Most Nissans/Datsuns are 4x4.5" or 5x4.5". Quote Link to comment
