goonfan
Didn't know Gift of Gab had a new album coming out. First time I seen Blackalicous was with Del at some place in Seattle the size of a bus, they rocked it..... LB was there too, tight. If you've never seen a Lyrics Born show, do it, one of the best live shows hands down every time. Same thing with Eyedea (RIP) back in the day, he did a show with Rass Kass, Eyedea stole the show in every way. Rass was so pissed about it he stormed off the stage somewhere into the second song. goonfan
Here's some corny video from an Australian female rapper, Romy of Macromantics..... Her album is tight though, she can rap better than any woman I've ever heard, shit better than I ever could, lol. Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
This is local stuff here in Southern Oregon, probably not for everyone but we all have our own type of music no matter the genre or style. Quote Link to comment
goonfan
For a chick she is not badbad, I was waiting for her to say she likes the cars with the speakers that go boom. Think Romy would tear her up though, I have no idea if she can battle so maybe not. Quote Link to comment
Jassifrass
she can rap better than any woman I've ever heard, shit better than I ever could, lol. This is a good female rapper too. This is the best I have seen myself. http://youtu.be/Y9Ls9KSmhTw http://youtu.be/j0tShXW9AF0 Quote Link to comment

HRH
I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I don't care. I'm not that fond of Eminem, but he can still make awesome songs. This one in particular is freakin' sweet: Sampling Billy Squier and "Grow your beard out, just weird out, and go berserk! All night long!" Quote Link to comment

Not only are his comedy songs pretty funny, but I think lyrically hes quite talented. For new songs, I like: Quote Link to comment
HRH
See Rap God doesn't do anything for me. I don't know. It has to have a beat and some guitar or something. Probably why I like older Beastie Boys so much. Hip Hop always has it over straight rap. Quote Link to comment
DAT510
Lol HRH This one might be a little to "out there" for even the most die hard hip hop fans. its mostly rap though. This is Key Nyata, from Seattle, Washington. He's part of a group called BRK Black Raider Klan. They're coming up, heres some of their shit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWRN45GQpCo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_rB39KfZM4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYUId6xY1Ss http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApGxuA75vtE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wElIHw2fZow Quote Link to comment
