Loads fine in a post but wont load in my signature? Works on all other forums? The picture is too large. You'll need to reduce the size of it to 150 x 150 pixels. That pic is a bit too short and wide for it to be good for an avatar. It can be done but it will end up very small and grainey. Quote Link to comment

Thomas Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 The image should work fine, as long as it's a resolution of 500x100 or less, and under 32KB in size. Your image is 381x86 and 24KB, so it should work. What sort of message do you get? Are you trying to link it to the picture on photobucket? For some reason, VB treats signature pictures differently and requires users to upload them. In "User CP > Edit Signature", there's a place to upload pictures underneath the text box. shane_lxi Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 You are probably trying to use the "" to get it in the sig. This site is a little different. Below the box for typing what you want in your sig is another box for linking or uploading and image for your sig. Then when you are done linking or uploading, there will be a button under the image that you linked/uploaded saying "insert image". It'll insert the code "" into the sig text box. It wont work by just linking it directly into the text box though :D. Quote Link to comment
Gensaiken Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 I believe I used the tags and uploaded my image on another site for hosting. I think I just talked to thomas and he did some admistrator thing and I was able to do the image in signatures. :D Quote Link to comment
