The red button on the upper right? that closes the browser, Why would you close the browser? Quote Link to comment

crackerjack69
Weld the hole shut. Ream from the other side. If you "found out the hole was tapered", you should consider paying someone to do this. Quote Link to comment

wayno
I had one tapered both ways, I was able to put the tierod in either way, it takes a special tool. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
This is the cheapest. http://www.goferitoffroad.com/products.htm You can also weld it up and re-drill it with the correct tapered bit. Quote Link to comment

rome11six
Thanks guys........ i realized it was tapered i just worded it wrong. i meant to ask how you guys flipped it so i could get some other ideas (thanks j2eDeYe for the info) . and i do have the project car mag issue No. 19 witch shows how to make a custom link using spherical rod ends, and alot of other useful stuff for the swap! ]2eDeYe
Eric updated his thread and those inserts are not the correct taper. You can weld up the holes and get the correct taper bit to re-drill them. Quote Link to comment
