my ? = my L-series motor has 4 cyl, where is the 4th port on the header?

reply (condensed) = "...you can clearly see what i'm saying, the four round holes are for the intake manifold, the three square, two smaller on the outside, one large in the centre are for the exhaust ports, hence three pipes."

Its like the old Pontiac V8 headers that had three pipes per side, using one pipe for the two inner ports. They were junk and didnt work that great but gave extra room.

If its true about that center tube being larger then It would be cool to put on a dime. I want to hurt people who advertise headers that fit 510 and 521:mad: It just doesn't work.....and besides the stock L16 mani is the better one anywhoo.

the hea-dur tubes are all the same size

on the head the center port appears to be 1 (=double ;) ), it is still seperated and even on the stock mani the ports are the same size.

 

the mani gaskets have 1 L center port, as the divider would likey burn away

I would buy it for $10 and put in the 4th pipe.Maybe after no one buys it it will have a $.1 starting bid.

I think a header for a truck might fit a 510 but absolutely no way to stuff a 510 header in a truck.

I have a J series engine in my L320. Im looking for a header just because I cant get a good fit on the old manifold. Im tired of the exhaust leak. Will this fit ?

The header that was for sale on eBay was crap and was online over a year ago. Its not for sale now.
