thisismatt
A spacer for what? Just get longer and/or stiffer springs. Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
How much higher, and why, I actuly have a set of 2" spacers for the top hats, not the best way to doit tho. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
coil spring spacers make it ride terrible. You can order them at Autozone or other parts store. Putting stock uncut springs back on is the best way. Quote Link to comment
philcas1987
on the top hat you can remove the studs then space it with washers and run longer bolts. the cheapest way. the strut insert can only extend so far. running longer springs would preload it. extending the strut tube then running spacers in the inserts with longer springs would do it. why would you want to lift it up? they ride way to high factory :P Quote Link to comment

hobbes_the_cat
^^^They call that tugboat stance. :) Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I cannot imagine anyone thinking stock height needs raising. It's more likely to be a lowered 510, which some people hate when they scrape on driveways and speed bumps. I can see someone asking that to be raised up. Quote Link to comment
shootdang
thanks for the replies but no its not stock and i know that there are many ways to fix the problem just a spacer lift would be the best quickest option at the time... so thanks for the input ill post pics soon im in the middle of paint right now Quote Link to comment
datsundan
Do you have rca's on the car already? If not maybe a pair of those could possible add an inch... Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
What's an RCA? Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
What's an RCA? Roll Center Adjuster Also called Bump steer spacer Quote Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
Adding RCAs will not affect ride height. It changes geometry of the suspension to compensate for lowered cars but will change nothing about how high it sits. Quote Link to comment
