Nelsontr
I am under a deadline to acquire some parts for my bottom end rebuild. If I have no luck finding a good price for used parts, I would like opinions about good brands to purchase retail. I have looked through rockauto already, are there any better sites to look through? The parts I am looking for are: full timing set piston rings main bearings connecting rod bearings Quote Link to comment

Nelsontr
Here is the alternative timing set I was looking at: CLEVITE / PERFECT CIRCLE Part # 92609 Quote Link to comment
Sealik
The only 8 hole sprockets available from BA is old stock. New stock is all 4 hole.....but the holes don't line up with the timing notches Don't assume the pic represents the actual sprocket you'll receive. Roll the dice Here is the alternative timing set I was looking at: CLEVITE / PERFECT CIRCLE Part # 92609 If possible..Get a 4 or 8 hole sprocket New BA sprocket....right of center Edited November 18, 2011 by Sealik Quote Link to comment
