Weber 32/36 with two fuel lines??? (PICS)

I am getting ready to put this weber on my 74 620- It's got the stock L18-

I am planning on running a fuel regulator in between the fuel pump and the carb, as I've heard way too many times that it's just a better idea.

But as far as I've seen on this forum I haven't seen an L series motor with a weber 32/36 that has 2 fuel inlet/outlets....

Can you guys help me with how I would go about hooking this up?

The carb----------

These are the two fuel barbs:

The brass tubing on this one is heavier wall tubing...

And this is the other barb that is made of thinner wall tubing...

Here's the stamp:

And the other stamp (Is this the serial number??)

And this is the vacuum line that I hook up to my distributor, right?

Thank you guys very much for the input-

The lower right is the fuel inlet...some Webers has 2 options for connection, depending on how one wants to route the fuel line

Looks like the left side is plugged though

Top fitting is the return fuel line (smaller orifice)? which could be hooked up?....or plugged and a return line plumbed in to the inlet line

The fuel inlet is the one that points down at an angle.

And i dont think that the other is a return line, fuel has no reason to be that high up in the float bowl. I actually think that it is supposed to be a vapor line to a charcoal canister?

The line to the canister is just below the thumb in this pic.....looks like it's plugged(?) anyways.

Sealik, after looking at it again, i would have to agree with you. Fuel could be that high up in that spot(since it hasnt actually entered the float bowl yet) and be used as a return line.

Yeah that hole, the one that Sealik said was for a charcoal canister, is plugged. (the one that's right below my thumb in the picture)

And I kinda thought the incoming fuel line would belong to the thinner wall tubing barb, on the bottom right.
