hUmBoLdT_HooV
im kinda glad this thread showed up, the wheels i want only come in 15x8 0 offset. Im lowered but not to extremes, if i read these posts correctly i should be okay without any mods to fenders, or very few correct? I dont mind having to roll fenders if needed but im not gonna go through all the mini tub stuff. I eventually want to go coilovers and get a tad lower but not so low its undrivable (thats what my beetle is for) Wheels i want for reference. Axis OG Banzai Quote Link to comment
oregondime
these 510's are running aggressive wheels in some pics. i saw in one picture the xxr 002 8inch wide without stretched tires or much work done besides chopping the inner fender.. http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dbloodbird%2B510%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26rls%3DGGLJ,GGLJ:2006-30,GGLJ:en&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=ja&twu=1&u=http://www.datsun510.net/event/20071111/071111b.htm&usg=ALkJrhgwBMb3T8IWcJJJip25KNK_6jCPWQ and some other pics to reference http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dbloodbird%2B510%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26rls%3DGGLJ,GGLJ:2006-30,GGLJ:en&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=ja&twu=1&u=http://www.datsun510.net/event/index.html&usg=ALkJrhiK9rLpZGzRsejPiwDB4RGtzBwvjA Quote Link to comment
DARIN 510
When I started this thread I was talking about widest wheels on a stock fender 510s. Bubble and box flares is cheating and does not count for this posting. So please stop braging about how your tucking 15x10 with a 0 offset on your 510 and somehow forget to mention you have bubble or box flares. Sorry Squatches but you don't count for this either, your at stock height And I don't mean to be rude but your shit looks ridiculous. . This is how it should be done. Quote Link to comment
Uber Deaf One
What's the point in wide wheels if you need ridiculous camber in the rear to get them to fit? You'd get more contact patch and grip with a smaller wheel and less camber Quote Link to comment

Stubby
Just bought 15x8 0 offset for the front and 15x9 0 offset for the rear. XXR 002's are the wheels. They are cheap and thats how I like it. They will be going on a wagon, and I will be using zg fender flares. Should look decent. I hope to use minimal or no negative camber. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Well if you are lowering the wagon, the front will get negative camber. You would need Camber plates to fix that. The rear, well you have a solid axle, no camber there. Quote Link to comment
Stubby
yeah, I have the t3 camber plates in the front. The only thing I have left to purchase for the rear are new shocks. I think I am going with the monroe air shocks. Quote Link to comment
