monk
Yea motor oil will eat the glue. Never had a problem with the wrapping falling apart though. I like the Xcaliber by mack. Shorter hair = turns better....however for learning use the blue 00 MAck. By the way there are two autobody supply stores in Salem that carry One Shot and Mack brushes!! Quote Link to comment

Madness
I have to stay mobile, usually end up walking up and down the street at cruises and car shows. Picked up a lot of business that way, so the smaller tool boxes work really well. Quote Link to comment

AZhitman
I'm having my 67 wagon (seen here: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/34391-alices-new-rack-looked-so-sexy-i-had-to-slam-her/ ) striped before JCCS... I know there's a lot of different "styles" of striping, and I want to go fairly subtle o this car (since it's already got a lot going on). So I guess my question for you guys is, what colors would you go with, and what "style" of striping would you lay on her? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment

The only pic i see is the super faded red.......Has it been repainted? If so what colors???? Quote Link to comment
Madness
a red a little lighter (or orange) with yellow would look good. Quote Link to comment

Ah - you missed the link... that's not my car. Here she is: http://forums.nicoclub.com/alice-s-new-rack-looked-so-sexy-i-had-to-slam-her-t539074.html It's not faded, I think the pics make it look washed-out. It's Nissan's Aztec Red. I'd go with white to match the top and black to pull in the tires and various trim. Lite blue with grey would pop out a bit more but still look good. There is my two cents :D Quote Link to comment
Madness
Since your car is a traditional style (white walls, white roof, roof rack) i would go with a clean traditional style of striping. Pictures pulled out of pinstripelounge.com Colors i was talking about. style Quote Link to comment
AZhitman
I like the style on that "tape measure" piece you posted, Madness. But I like monk's idea of some light blue, some orange, and maybe a dove grey... I dunno? Let me ask this - she has gold emblems (factory Datsun 411 SSS)... would it make sense to ask him to work in some gold? Or will it get "lost"? Quote Link to comment
