Mikeystoy
Exhaust pipe was probably pointing up behind the bumper Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
I also replaced the voltage regulator so now it reads 14.17 volts instead of close to 16 volts. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
Exhaust pipe was probably pointing up behind the bumper It is. Good point. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
I bought some louvers for it. Mounting them looks like a project. The factory screws on the bottom don't come out far enough to mount in the body so I assume there were receiving spacer/cups that came up from the deck lid. They are the plastic louvers not metal. I still think they look cool. 2 Quote Link to comment
jboulukos
Two thumbs up on the louvers! Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
I'm trying to mount them right now. DONE!! Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
Thanks to Izzo for the louvers. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!! Holes in the trunk. Ugh!! Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
When one door closes another door opens. No no. When one thing gets done two more appear! Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
No fuel leaks. No exhaust leaks. I think this is just from the tire throwing mud on the underside in the alley. Not a easy fix. Quote Link to comment
ericsb210
I don't think I have ever seen a "B" rust out in that particular spot. I might be able to cut that piece out of my hatch back, It is just about to go to the recycle yard. Let me know if you would like to try that. Quote Link to comment
ericsb210
I venture your hatch window leaks plus the right rear tire was flat allowing all the water to gather in that corner. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mikeystoy
Mine has some light rust there, my taillight leaks when it rains and the rear window leaked as well Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
I wonder if this is related to my rusty holes behind the gas tank. Do any of you have this sticker and know how it was fixed? Quote Link to comment
Datsunocaster
I have the same louver on my back window. those bottom screws go into little clips and not directly into the hatchback.. I can send pics if nessary for you. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
Yes please send pics. Quote Link to comment

LilGypsy78
Excellent work.. this car is looking great. I'm jealous I didn't have a car like this when I was a teenager. She's a lucky girl! Quote Link to comment
720inOlyWa
Ultra cool recall sticker! Bonus points, for sure. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
I stole thiat pic of the recall sticker recently on google. I don't think many people have seen the sticker or know about the recall. Quote Link to comment
Datsunocaster
I have that sticker on mine as well.... No problem with that rust spot though. Please PM me your email and I have a pic of the back of my hatchback with the mounting hardware for the back window louver I can send you already. Its not a close up shot but you can see all the hardware. If that doesent work for you then I can get a closer pic as well.... Quote Link to comment
LilGypsy78
Yeah, I saw where that picture came from on a junkyard cars page. I haven't seen that sticker anywhere else so far, but I went and inspected my trunk to see. I have leaks, but it seems to be all right for the most part. I posted the pictures you were asking about, too. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
So my daughter saved up and bought herself a jeep. I finally get to have the b210 back. Three years later. It needs some love. I'll get some current pics in the next few days as she's driving it to work tomorrow so I can take her jeep down and have it detailed. I shall start a new list of things to accomplish on it. After screwing with the auto trans a year ago when she ran it out of fluid and kept driving I think it's done for. It still drives but it shifts funny and I'm tired of trying to readjust the shift modulator. Maybe the dealer shift modules are factory set and not like the after market adjustable ones. I like autos and really don't want to swap a standard in. I get sooo much shit for that from people. 1 Fix hole in trunk 2 Trans work 3 Speedometer 4 Clean the living hell out of it 5 Put louvers back on 6 Install carpet 7 Replace dash speaker 8 Dome light for the 30th time 9 Clean it some more 10 Leaf springs 11 Tire board 12 Antenna clip Quote Link to comment
fisch
Such a cool first car. I bet she will look back on it in about 20 years and want another, but they will cost a lot more. Good thing daddy will probably still have his! 1 Quote Link to comment
