Laecaon
I was having that issue with the same tranny and L18 on the ground (out of the car). I kinda think it was the clutch not going onto the splines. As soon as I rocked the tranny side to side it popped in. If you havent figured out the tranny mount yet, you only need to go down 1 inch. 69dime
From left to right are the original bearing from the dogleg, bearing and sleeve from a 521 4-speed that was attached to an LZ22 (52.5mm), dogleg sleeve with l16 bearing (48.5mm), and l16 4-speed sleeve and bearing (38.5mm). I used the dogleg sleeve (48.5mm) with l16 bearing and it seemed too short so I'm trying the 4-speed from lz22 sleeve (52.5mm), but I've read it's supposed to match the engine which makes no sense. 52.5mm, 48.5mm, and 38.5mm (28, 24, 14 in the L dimension on the chart) --- Well, the 52.5mm is the one that seems to engage the clutch. Imagine that. Totally different from everything I read online. Hmmm... Quote Link to comment
