Are you talking about 610 only or all cars. My 1970 JDM Fairlady Z has no rear side markers. Just front ones.

I think he is talking about 610s considering this is the 610 unite thread:cool:

My 610 SSS as of today

I know we didnt get the rear side markers in AU.

Nope, we got the grey blanking plates instead. The indicators from the front guards (fenders) on the early model 610's fits perfectly in the hole in the rear fender to replace the blanking plate. Just need to wire it into the taillight wiring harness and it will come on with the indicators :D

The Australian front indicator lenses stick out maybe 3/4", compared to the US and JDM ones that are pretty much flat. I've bought a full set (front and rear) of the flat JDM style ones from yahoo japan, and actually sold a set of Australian-spec ones to a guy in the US.

Here's all three, OZ rear blanking one on top, JDM / US in the middle and OZ front fender one at the bottom.

2nd photo is an early model (ie 72 - 73) JDM front fender light fitted to the rear of my Australian 610

Hi all,

I'm brand new here and have just read all 25 pages is one sitting. Its awesome to see so many sick bluies are still rocking!

I'm keen on getting rid of my 180B badges and tail lights if i can get my hands on some 610 badges, some of the rear side indicators and the tripple red lights, i have a little cash to sweeten the deal....

I dont have many pictures on my new computer of my baby girl but i'll post up what i have and get some current ones up in the next couple of days...

!!!! pics didn't work!!!!! there is one on my facebook if you can be bothered following a link.....

I'll get some propper pics up asap, sorry

p.s. not sure how well these guys are known on here being a predominantly US site but check out datsport. these guys are 510 specialists but the 610 uses pretty much the same parts through-out. 90% of there stuff works for the 610

Dave,

That might be it. I thought it had different rims though. The guy did post that it had rust from a vinyl top. Thanks though man, I feel a little better about missing out on it now. I'm probably gonna need the pedals and hard line for the clutch if you still have it and I pick up the car. I'm still waiting on him for some info.

Hey Bonvo not yet. That fender might be mine still, and I'm gonna need it. If I don't pick up the car, I'll put you in touch with the guy. Or if I find some glass fenders, maybe we can work something out. I'll let you know.

Scott

Scott,

Saying that this car had rust from a vinyl top would be like saying the Statue of Liberty has a little corrosion from being out in the elements.

The rims are at an angle you really cannot see. Sadly, the clutch lines and pedals are sold, but you can use the pedals out of either a 610 or a 710, they fit just the same. I will keep an eye out when I am J/Y-ing next time. Let me know if you pick this girl up. Like I said, I would add another to the stable, but I need to get past this back problem, house, sedan...yeah too much stuff, not enough time.

Yep, thats me.

I should have turfed my shell instead of spending two years fixing it :(. Its been rewarding though, and now I have a completely rust-free shell to show for my efforts.

I'm currently making the supercharger mounting bracket, once that and the inlet and exhaust manifolds are made I hope to have some real progress to show :D

610 and 710 the only pedals that work? Or will the 620/720 pedals work too? Thanks for keeping an eye out for me. I'm probably gonna pick this thing up as long as the guy will take my price. He's a few years behind on registration so I'm hoping to get a deal. He got into an accident too, but seems like minor damage on the passenger side, he said maybe a broken tie-rod, but he already has the part.

Any help from the guys out of country on some pedals for a conversion? Might need to find a good contact with some one in Australia or something for parts. You guys seem to have a lot more 610/180B stuff than we do.

Thanks

Scott

620 or 720 pedals mount differently, so to answer your question, you will need 610 or 710. Fortunately for you, its a matter of pedals and clutch hardline with reservoir. If the pass side damage is more than what you think, let me know, I have the whole front end of the parts car available (not the x-member) and we can make a deal. The pedals from overseas would be incorrect, as the steering wheel is on the opposite side (different mounting?)

Pics coming soon! Meanwhile, just listed the Datto's but ran out of room to quote from my defunct old web page on the legacy edition, so here it is again for your amusement!

Hey GrUvee, welcome to the boards. Is your 180B the green one that was at JCCS last year? You seem to have quite a collection, maybe you can help me source some parts if I pick up this 73 I'm looking at.
