chilibiskits4 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 i gotta give it up to dave... what a stand up guy. :D i called him just from reading this thread for some help, he was able to help me out in less than 48 hour's notice. did a house call, gave the b210 a good once over, bs'ed a lot about cars, but hes the man, very willing to teach anyone whos willing to learn. it helps that he smokes and listens to hip hop like me...but really, will definitely use his skillz on da carz again. already have more work for him lined up haha! thanks again bro. i really appreciate helping a fellow datsun-er help keep her on the road... Will Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 I saw that Dave had helped out with RedBanner's long long long quest for a 710 ashtray, so I figured, where there's a 710 ashtray, there's a 710. It turned out that Dave knew where there was a yard with a hardtop like mine, and Dave was out there the next day, charging a reasonable price for his labor and nabbing a long list of parts from the car. ...and then packaging them and sending them off to me THAT SAME DAY. Since I live in the land of no Datsuns, it's nice to know that there is a way for me to get parts from the magically rustless other side of the country. Thanks, Dave!
