barman1971
Does anybody have any ideas on where i could find , or how to remanufacture, window seals . I just bought a 76 " honeybee" 2 dr. sdn. It has windows that pop out on a switch nob, but the seals are completely waisted. I've been searching the net for NOS or something but no luck. Anybody else solved this problem already? Quote Link to comment
Flashing_Banana
I'm also interested in how the rest of you keep the elements out of the car. Most of my weather stripping is shot, both doors, pop out windows, and the hatch. They don't leak water too bad, but the wind noise is pretty terrible. Quote Link to comment

I was going to take a sample to a local trim shop that sells lots of different generic seals and see what they had? Worth a shot... Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Go to the wreckers and get some from a 1982 Datsun 210. That's what I'm using in my 1972 B110. Course only the 2-door sedans use this type of seal. Quote Link to comment
hang_510
do you have a x-section and where it mounts on the window pix? are they at all similar to a 510? Quote Link to comment
barman1971
no cross sections yet but ill look into it and see and ill look into the wreck yards for 82 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
We have 82s in the yards here. Not as many as 92s, but can usually find several 210s in Seattle area. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You could make them. The B110 from factory uses the door trim seals. These just fit over the bare flange. Then a foam rubber seal is glued to that for the window. Later Datsun made one piece seals, but they are practically identical. 2-dr sedan rear side window weatherstripping. B310 seals fit almost perfect, but about 1 inch too short for the B110. Just trim a bit of it off when fitting to the B110. I don't know if the B210 is larger or smaller glass. You can buy them from teh Nissan dealer: * 83830-H8600 WEATHERSTRIP-SIDE WINDOW RH (BLACK 002G0 $84.53 USD * 83831-H8600 WEATHERSTRIP-SIDE WINDOW LH (BLACK 002G0 $84.53 USD or here: FEB 2011 - Portland ore Quote Link to comment

emanistan
I'm going to try remaking the seals on my wing windows with some recycled Infiniti Q45 door-seal (I was able to cut it to something like the right shape with an X-acto knife) and instant gasket seal. Unfortunately it will be a while before I can report on whether or not it works: still need to fix the interior wiring and the paint and re-install the interior before I see to the window seals and test them in wet conditions. PineClone
I bought the seals that are listed earlier in this thread and they fit great. Problem is that they still leak air/water because the lever doesn't clamp tight enough. And i don't see any way to adjust them. Quote Link to comment
B2Fresh
Add washers between the latch on the interior end where the two screws are. That's what I did and it seals with no leaks and no wind noise. 1 Quote Link to comment
