Llittle_Llama
I took my cowl cover off and it's rusted through in a few places. I was hoping to take it and have the vents cut out and shave everything but the wiper arm holes, but I don't want to waste my time if ones are available that are in better condition. I know PAC has done one, so I thought I'd ask if anyone had an extra in good condition they could shave and ship to me. If not and I have to have it done locally what can I expect to pay? 1 Quote Link to comment

erichwaslike
id say ur looking at 100-200 figure its gonna take someone 2-3 hours to do from start to finish. cutting the wents out, making the filler panel, welding it slowly so it doesnt warp the shit outta it and then sanding it. Laecaon
Someone can make it. If you are asking the question, then you cant. Do you know anyone good with a welder? Anything is possible. If you are looking for a part, ask the parts wanted section. Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
Well I don't know anyone that does "good" sheet metal welding here. I was more wanting to know if I should use mine or if good non rusted ones were around to use instead. I don't want to have this one done if I could use a better one for almost the same price.
