did some searching on what to use:

I have the stock early 510 lower ball joint and steering arm but its the 11mm version (weaker)

so i want to go with the stronger 14mm so i need the later 70+ steering arms

Those should fit perfect. 7" wide with 4" backspace is what I run. ZX struts will flush em out nice in the front, might have to roll the fender lips a little in the back.

sweet I wanted to make sure before I refurbished them

BTW those look like 14" not 16". I don't think you measure lip to lip, you measure where the tire bead seats. Right?

you are correct thx

Do i have to have my gas tank Tig welded?

or can i just use my mig i would overlap the 300zx fuel pump flange on top of the 510 tank

i wish i was at my old job i could use the tig there but i dont have access to one and ive been quoted 225 to have it welded by someone that makes the tanks to sell on ebay

ive spent 125 for the tank and pump already
