cant really make much call without seeing it.

 

 

check under the pass side 1/4 panel interior panel in the spare tire well for rust along with the usual battery tray, floors ect.

 

 

79 only came with an N/A L28 in 5 speed or auto.

Auto is slow. This car of that age really has a huge difference in power between auto and 5-speed. The good news is that back then cars were fairly easy to convert to a 5-speed later. (if you want) If you're able to find one in a local wrecking yard or a car being parted out then you may be able to get the parts used for a total of $200-300 for the conversion.

Skib, I'm a letz you finnish............. but I think '79 was the last year a 4 speed was used.

thanks folks...im fixing to leave....really dont need one but damn...think I can get it for a couple hundred...Hate auto's...takes all the fun outta it....

 

 

metalmonkey....lmao...not that thing...i did ride to marietta last weekend and look at the b210's that fellow has...had the two on craigslist and one more....the 78 was RUSTY...ran nice but RUSTY....looked aces till you got to the rockers....
