Thanks, I've used it well to describe the dogleg. Hey, use it whenever you can to ejercate the young folks about the mysteries of tranies. I remember not very long ago reading about doglegs, but finding limited info in how to id them. When you finally see a pic of the smooth case, and learn it is only about 26 1/2" long (hope I'm right on that}, it makes it a lot easier to find one.
